The old adage “what we resist, persists” has proven itself to be accurate many times in my life. Yet how do we learn to stop fighting reality and work with afflictive states rather than work on them? It’s from this mind-set and a place of deep inner work and personal transformation that I’m able to offer effective, heart-centered counseling.
I draw on my extensive training in Buddhist meditation and psychology, Yoga, Ayurveda, massage therapy, intuitive coaching and western psychotherapy to weave a personalized tapestry of healing for you each session.
In my role as an associate with Leading Minds Executive Coaching I help clients to implement mindfulness strategies that empower them to manage stress, grow their careers and businesses, and reach their full human potential. Psychiatrist and Executive Coach Dr. David Brendel and I offer stress reduction and mindfulness trainings for businesses as well. Here’s an article we published about our collaboration in Harvard Business Review.
Private sessions are a wonderful opportunity to dialogue, identify and then treat the root cause of personal challenges. No session is identical to another, as each client is unique and requires individualized work. Learning to navigate life with increased resilience, self-awareness, and compassion is at the heart of my therapeutic counseling practice. Email me to set up an appointment, or to ask preliminary questions.
