Panchakarma & Western Cleansing:

For a residential, traditional Ayurvedic cleanse, I recommend two panchakarma places in the US. One is The Ayurvedic Center of Vermont, and the other is The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM.

For a holistic cleanse experience that you can do at home, my wonderful colleagues offer the Ultimate Rejuvenation Cleanse; a guided cleanse that has become quite popular because it works. I highly recommend it!

Dr. David Brendel, M.D., PH.D. provides effective and compassionate treatment. Dr. Brendel and I work collaboratively, integrating mindfulness practices with optimal psychiatric care and executive coaching from a Harvard trained psychiatrist. We believe that in certain cases, treatment is most effective with a team of caring professionals supporting your healing process.  Here is a link to learn more about our cutting edge work.

I'm profoundly grateful to my teachers, Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Scott Blossom, Chandra Easton and Dr. Claudia Welch. Scott & Chandra's website has a plethora of useful information, as does Claudia's.  You can find Dr. Lad through the Ayurvedic Institute, listed above.

Just as there is a space between
the clouds in the sky,
there is a space between your thoughts.
This space is the doorway to the divine.

If you identify with your thoughts
you become the thinker.
If the thought brings fear,
you identify with that fear
and you become afraid.

But you are not that thought.
You are not that fear.
You are that vast space.
Thought and fear live in you.
When you fight with your thoughts,
you lose your energy.
Just watch the space between two thoughts.
...
In that silence there is no mind.
The gap enhances and you become empty.
Let that inner space expand
in all directions equally
...
Like a breeze meditation comes to you.
The sunlight is always there,
you only need to open the door.
